VoiceScribe® is a speech to text service that turns your voicemails into text. Designed to save you time, when a voicemail is received and transcribed you will be notified via E-mail or Instant Message.

With integration directly into your phone system, VoiceScribe® lets you communicate better and faster with your colleagues. Just imagine their faces as they see their words transcribed in an e-mail you reply to!

We provide an online control panel where you can configure your users and route voicemails through our transcription service. In the panel you can customize the routes, set up distribution lists, view your usage, recent transcriptions, and financial information.

We use a combination of computer and human assisted techniques to provide the best quality audio transcriptions on the market at the best rate. Quality and cost is selectable on a per user basis.

VoiceScribe® works by relaying your audio files through our servers. Depending on your audio source no extra software is necessary. Your system will use common e-mail routing techniques to route voicemails through our servers. Once we receive the voicemail we apply our transcription algorithms to the audio and forward the final message on to your mailbox.

VoiceScribe® is provided as a well-maintained web-service and designed for Asterisk®. There is no special software needed. Messages are routed through our secure servers where they are converted to text, enhanced, and then forwarded on to their original destination.

VoiceScribe® interoperates with Asterisk® by using the standard VoiceMail application in Asterisk and common e-mail routing techniques.

Adding VoiceScribe® to your existing phone system is easy and you can have it up and running in a few minutes. We even offer up to 30 minutes of free installation support per server.

1. How long do messages take to be transcribed?

At the moment our system turn around time is ~10 minutes. We believe that in the near future we will be able to improve this to somewhere between 3x-6x the length of the message.

2. How many users can I have in my account?

You can associate an unlimited amount of users with your VoiceScribe® account.

3. Are there any monthly fees?

No. VoiceScribe® is provided as a usage based service. You only pay for what you use.
