IvyCrest Montessori, a private school located in Fullerton, CA with over 80 employees and over 300 families has been providing the community with high quality Montessori and art programs for more than 30 years.
In 2005 IvyCrest invested over $30,000 into new infrastructure. We installed new cabling to expand the network to cover the new classroom buildings, a new office, new auditorium and a new kitchen.
During this time we built a beautiful server room for IvyCrest. After surveying the site for the best location we re-routed much of the cabling for the main building and converted an unused closet into a full featured server room. There we installed the cabling, server rack, A/C, phone system and several servers. Our conversion saved valuable space which is now used for private music lessons.
In late 2009, IvyCrest greatly benefited from our emergency services. Faulty switches on their network caused the Kiosk system to have issues and the network was going down several times a week, and customers were negatively affected. We quickly accessed the situation, ordered the necessary replacement parts and found a way to keep the network running, until the parts arrived for a more permanent fix.
Other notable projects include: Our installation of Kiosks for employees to sign in/out on, check their time cards on and view their account information on, as well as our configuration and management of the multi-site Microsoft Active Directory system.
We continue to provide superb IT related services to IvyCrest. We hold a meeting every month, supply technology advice every week, and stand ready to provide support of technical issues that the staff may encounter, every day. In addition, we manage over 130 network devices for IvyCrest covering everything from the wireless access points, servers, phone system, and both campuses.
