Infrastructure

The infrastructure of our network is important to our business and yours. We want you to feel safe that your data is traveling securely and reliably through our networks.

Physical Security

At our primary datacenter, access to our servers requires multiple levels of access to the building, from proximity cards, and biometric hand scanners. Several guards are on duty 24/7 and the halls, exterior, elevators, and data center are under constant video surveillance.

Data Security and Stability

Data isn't just physically safe. We also take special care to provide security at the network level between all of our hosted services. We deploy multiple techniques to ensure the stability of our services, from round robin DNS to balance server load, to the effective use of proper coding to ensure that all data is properly queued and managed in the event of a network interruption. Messages are placed on hold in queues and immediately continue as soon as services are restored.

Quality Bandwidth

Our upstream network is multi-homed and primarily flows through Mzima. In the event of a provider outage, our equipment automatically switches over to backup providers.

Network Monitoring and Availability

To monitor the stability of our network we perform extensive testing using a combination of tools such as Nagios and Cactii. We host our monitoring system off-site to proide an outside-in view of our network. You can also follow our mailing list to receive up to date alerts about the equipment on our network.

We are proud of the companies we built our network with:
Our response and management partners at the datacenter, "Corporate Colocation builds and manages Green Data Centers, in Los Angeles and Dallas with plans for expansion into other markets. Our innovative "heat extraction technology" and commitment to only the best facilities, with a passion for constant improvement and attention to redundant power, cooling, infrastructure, as well as network and security guarantees the highest level of service and support to our clients."
Our bandwidth provider. "Mzima has designed a completely fault-tolerant backbone network consisting of multiple wide-area rings and distributed metro NAPs. A dedicated optical transport network provides transparent connectivity between elements on Mzima's IP network providing better resiliency than traditional IP networks." - Mzima Website
